An early career in the Olympic world (4 Olympic Games), 10 years at CANAL+ in Paris at the Service des Sports, 15 years in high watchmaking at Richemont and LVMH: Marine Lemonnier-Brennan combines solid experience and deep expertise in media and public relations.
Over the past 10 years, Marine was Global PR Director alongside Jean-Claude Biver, Chairman of LVMH Watch Division, successively supporting the growth of HUBLOT, the repositioning of TAG HEUER, and most recently the revitalization of ZENITH.
In March 2018, Marine began a new chapter with the creation of 289 Consulting, putting her proven track record at the service of foundations, institutions and horology brands.
Biography
A career start in sports – youngest press secretary at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul with the French Riding Federation, press secretary of the French teams), then Coordinator of TV and Radio/ORTO 92 at the Olympic Winter Games in Albertville in 1992.
Marine Lemonnier joins the CANAL+ Sports Department in 1996 as Head of Communications (Europe’s largest sports editorial team with 180 journalists and on-screen legends the likes of Michel Denisot, Charles Bietry, Thierry Gilardi, Grégoire Margotton, Michel Platini – and with ground-breaking production resources in the stadiums to maximise impact).
Summer Olympics in Atlanta 1996, 1998 Football World Cup, 1999 Rugby World Cup, live weekly broadcasts of the biggest football matches in Europe, the biggest rugby competitions, the Formula 1 seasons (including the launch of the first pay-per-view service in Monaco, basketball with the NBA in the USA, the biggest golf tournaments, and the mythical Paris Saint-Germain football club is just down the road… For over 10 years, Marine Lemonnier is at the pulse of high-level international sports, promoting the brand and business strategy of CANAL+.
In 1998, she is nominated for the Paris Press Relations Grand Prix.
Soon after, she becomes CANAL+ Group’s Corporate and Financial Communications Officer (Coordination of European subsidiaries, Mergers & Acquisitions, Annual Reports, Coordination with Universal Studios in Los Angeles …), then Communications Manager of CANALSATELLITE (first platform of cable television in Europe with 450 TV channels & services).
In 2005, Marine Lemonnier moves to Switzerland and enters the world of High Watchmaking at Vacheron Constantin, part of the Richemont Group.
In 2010, already then legendary Jean-Claude Biver calls on her to join him as HUBLOT’s International PR Manager, to develop and implement an ambitious marketing plan and support the brand’s annual double-digit growth.
In 2015, she follows Jean-Claude Biver to TAG Heuer. The mission: to reposition and rejuvenate the brand with a sustained event marketing strategy (F1 with Red Bull Racing, Monaco Grand Prix, Patrick Dempsey, Cara Delevingne, Bella Hadid, Ronaldo, David Guetta, Chris Hemsworth, Manchester United, One Republic, etc …). Among the highlights, the launch of the TAG Heuer smartwatch in collaboration with GOOGLE and INTEL (qualified as perhaps the biggest launch of the Swiss watch industry in 2015 according to Business Watches, achieving the equivalent of CHF 800 million in editorial coverage, in addition to 147 TV channels reporting on the watch within 15 days of the New York launch conference).
In July 2017, Marine Lemonnier arrives at ZENITH, again with Jean-Claude Biver, to join freshly minted CEO Julien Tornare on an ambitious challenge. The team at ZENITH has 3 months to organise the launch of the DEFY LAB watch with the all-new Sémon Oscillator. It is the most important press conference ever in the history of Le Locle. More than 220 journalists from all over the world, and more than 300 guests from within the industry converge in the valley to discover the watchmaking innovation. Shortly thereafter ZENITH’s invention receives the coveted Innovation Award at the 17th Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève.
In March 2018, Marine Lemonnier creates 289 Consulting and collaborates with institutions and several brands in high watchmaking.

20 years of experience in the luxury sector, within large organizations as well as start-ups, enable Estelle d’Hubert to contribute a deep and broad perspective based on results achieved in the field.
Estelle began her journey with the Richemont Group at Cartier in Paris and London, then at Vacheron Constantin in Geneva, in the client services and marketing departments, where she met the expectations of demanding customers. She then worked on product presentation, both in prestigious boutiques and for exhibitions. This versatility affords her a 360° understanding of this universe’s codes and drivers.
In 2015, after 10 years with a luxury group, Estelle moved to Neuchâtel where she dove into the world of independent watchmakers, as head of communications for a new watchmaker, Czapek & Cie. Here she gained an entrepreneurial perspective and a deep understanding of the stakes and challenges involved. Soon thereafter, another independent watch company, Schwarz Etienne, became a client, too. Estelle continued building a clientele of independent brands, consolidating her expertise in this space.
Estelle joined the 289 Consulting team in July 2021. She has extensive experience in communication and watchmaking, and is as comfortable working with a small organizations as with large corporates. With a natural inclination towards external relations, she is absolutely at ease in working with and expressing herself in all forms of communication and media, including social networks, with the sensibility for the human touch at the core of the job.
For nearly 15 years, Aude Campanelli worked within the Richemont group in Geneva as International PR Manager of Vacheron Constantin.
The brand’s major international press launches and events, including the 250th Anniversary celebrations, the Métiers d’Art, Patrimony, Les Masques, Excellence Platine, Overseas and Malta collections, major watch complications, international press trips such as a visit to the platinum mines in South Africa, press activations for partnerships such as the Barbier-Mueller exhibition in New York, high profile interviews and the CEO’s image… Aude guided the brand’s international PR strategy and lead-managed its implementation, supporting the development and production of collateral materials as well as coordinating international press relations and communications with 18 markets.
In 2015, she struck out on her own and soon counted Haute Horlogerie brands as her clients for which, depending on the mandate, she managed Swiss or international press relations. She also helped to organise classical music concerts, inter alia for the Crescendo con la Musica Foundation in Geneva.
In 2018, she added the Grand prix d’Horlogerie de Genève to her portfolio, handling relations with the Swiss and international press as well as the event’s social networks.
Enterprising and energetic, quick on her feet, a self-starter and efficient, she holds communication, a sense of values and human relations to be at the core of all success.
Enthusiastic and entrepreneurial by nature, Cloé is passionate about the luxury industry, and in particular, the effects that a positive and successful brand image can have.
Involved in strategic PR and communication decisions for various industries on a national and international scale for ten years, Cloé’s passion for storytelling has seduced many brands for crafting their narratives, product launches, and events aimed at various target audiences.
In addition to her passion, Cloé has been practicing silent meditation for 10 years, and ski touring in winter.
Mousse Jaquier, a distinguished figure in the realm of luxury branding and public relations, brings a wealth of experience and a multicultural perspective to the 289 Consulting team. A Swiss national, born close to Lausanne and fluent in an impressive array of languages (French, Italian, English, German, Spanish, and Mandarin), Jaquier’s career trajectory is marked by her profound affinity for Italian elegance and lifestyle, a testament to her diverse cultural insights and creative prowess.
Her journey in the luxury sector commenced in 2008 with Blancpain, where her passion for fine watchmaking was ignited. This initial experience laid the foundation for her specialized career in the watchmaking industry, characterized by a blend of creativity, technical understanding, and international relations.
Jaquier’s role as « International Press & Public Manager » at De Grisogono was a pivotal period, during which she honed her skills in building and maintaining a robust international network. Her efforts were instrumental in elevating the brand’s presence on a global scale, leveraging her collaborations with elite photographers, models, and the international horological press to enhance the brand’s technical and aesthetic appeal.
In 2013, Jaquier’s expertise and commitment to excellence led her to Piaget, a part of the Richemont group, where she was entrusted with overseeing the brand’s public relations and presence at the prestigious SIHH. Her strategic approach and meticulous planning ensured Piaget’s enhanced visibility and reputation across more than 20 subsidiaries worldwide, reflecting her capability to navigate and influence the global luxury market effectively.
Embracing a new challenge, Jaquier relocated to Italy in 2019 to specialize in high-end event organization, further broadening her skill set and industry insights. Her decision to join 289 Consulting in March 2024 marks a return to her roots in Swiss watchmaking, aligning her passion for horology with her extensive experience in luxury brand management and international public relations.
At 289 Consulting, Mousse Jaquier is poised to leverage her unique blend of creative vision, technical knowledge, and global network to propel our clients in the horological sector to new heights of recognition and success.
John brings close to three decades of experience working as a strategist and copywriter with leading agencies in the UK and the US on some of the world’s greatest brands, in the most competitive sectors. Finding that nugget in the client’s product and ethos and weaving it into a meaningful narrative that clicks with a particular audience – it never gets old. What never fails to give him a kick, though, is “that moment when the idea becomes words, when the ‘lorem ipsum’ characters magically rearrange themselves before my eyes.” Pure serendipity brought John and 289 together in 2021 and he sees each day as a new chance to match creativity with strategy and create connections that matter, so that our clients’ stories aren’t just heard—they’re felt.
After completing a preparatory course in French literature (Hypokhâgne and Khâgne), Eva pursued further education in Geneva, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Communication. Her passion for literature and writing prompted her to secure an internship in journalism and communication, notably with the Swiss magazines EYES MAGAZINE and SUR LA TERRE, for which she authored several articles that were published.
In January 2023, Eva joined 289 Consulting as the team’s PR & Content Coordinator.
Born in Geneva, Manon grew up in Florence, Italy, where she received a multilingual education (French, English, Italian). Back in Switzerland in 2018, in the city of Lucerne, she deepened her German and Swiss-German language skills, becoming quadrilingual. She obtained her Baccalauréat in 2020 with top honors. The following year, she had the opportunity to do an internship in Berlin with « Strandgutmedia », a TV and digital production agency. This work experience sparked her keen interest in the media world. She then decided to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Sciences, Psychology and English at the University of Neuchâtel, where she is currently in her second year.
At the same time, she pursues her passion for music as a composer and performer, working closely with her pianist brother. She performs regularly on stage and was awarded the Lucerne prize for best song in 2023.
She joined the 289 Consulting team in February 2024 as an intern.
Emilie Buon Dondelet strengthens the team with extensive and solid experience in the field of communication and events acquired with luxury and financial services brands as well as major international organizations based in Geneva who have entrusted her with organizing major events for over 20 years now. A consummate professional when it comes to organizing, thoroughly customer and results oriented, Emilie implements projects and supports teams with a diligent and enthusiastic approach to the mission at hand.
It was at watchmaker Roger Dubuis, part of the Richemont Group, where Emilie and Marine Lemonnier-Brennan first met and worked together. At the time, Emilie managed all communication and event activities for the brand (product launches, advertising campaigns, photo shoots, boutique openings).
Then followed more than 15 years with MCI Group in Geneva, where she developed event concepts, set up and coordinated cross-disciplinary teams to deliver large-scale events such as the 180th anniversary of Jaeger-LeCoultre, events and conventions for Nespresso (including the first edition of the NESPRESSORIA Awards), charity events for the Womanity Foundation, corporate anniversaries such as the 100th anniversary of Caran d’Ache and Induni, as well as product launches for watch manufacturer Zenith. The launch of the Defy Lab watch at Zenith’s headquarters in Le Locle was attended by of 250 journalists from all over the world provided an opportunity to once again collaborate with Marine. Having organized the Nansen Awards for UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) for several years, Emilie has been called upon to organize the first World Forum on Refugees at the United Nations, which will bring together some 3,000 participants, including six heads of state, more than 90 officials at the ministerial level, the Secretary General of the United Nations, and some 55 international organizations.
